MORNINGS #SKINCARE

Mornings are really tough for me, but I have noticed however that the days I start my mornings with a 5-10 minute skincare routine, my day begins so much better if I were to just hit the ground running.  Now, I know skincare routine can be a little daunting for some, with so many brands and different products out there it can get a little overwhelming, but I promise it can be as simple as washing your face when you narrow down to your goals and needs.

My goal right now is to target blemishes, discoloration, and anti-aging. Here’s how my morning routine looks like and the products I’ve been using this winter:

Cleanser  I like to start my routine washing my face using a gentle cleanser.  If you watch my Instagram stories you know how much I love BareMinerals products. I’ve been using the PURE PLUSH Gentle Deep Cleanser. It is a cream to leather formula that feels like a rich moisturizer and feels so great on my skin. I only apply a pea-sized amount on my face, plenty enough to lather and clean the skin.

After washing my face, I gently pat dry with a clean towel then I follow with a toner.

Toner Recently, I’ve been using Glow Tonic from Pixi. I started off with the travel size, and I instantly felt the love. It hydrates and it soothes the skin and it is a great way to gently exfoliate the skin without the actual physical exfoliation. Glow goals!

Glycolic Gel I have been using Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic Acid Hydrating Gel 10% for the past two months and I am lovingggg it. It targets my anti-aging concern and helped improves clarity and brightness. This was a perfect addition to my morning and night skincare routine during this winter. (currently unavailable)

Vitamin I was using No7 Youthful Vitamin C serum for a month and I liked how my skin was smooth but I don’t believe this vitamin C worked for me as I wish it did. So if you have one that you love to use, comment below, I would love to hear from you. At the moment, I am using the Olay Regenerist Luminous Facial Oil. This oil contains 9 naturally derived oils and is lightweight, non-greasy, dye and fragrance-free. My skin is instantly glowing, smooth and hydrated. I also use the Maracuja Oil from Tarte Cosmetics which is also my favorite because it gives me that natural glow as well.

Anti-aging MoisturizerI’ve been using Revitalift Cicacream Anti-Wrinkle + Skin Barrier Repair from L’Oréal mornings and nights regularly. I can honestly say I noticed an instant difference on my skin softness and appearance. This anti-aging moisturizer is very lightweight and it is fragrance, paraben, and dye free.

Moisturizer My morning moisturizer is the Collagen Elastin from St.Ives. This is my holy grail forever moisturizer. I’ve been purchasing this on and off for about 5 years! I love this moisturizer because its very light yet very rich moisturizer. I noticed how my skin was healthier and the fine lines on my forehead were visible gone. I also love the fact that I can easily find at my local grocery store! So this moisturizer it’s so great to my skin and also has the best price.

Having a skincare routine is very good for my skin but also for myself. I think it’s great to devote a alone time for me, even if it’s only 15 minutes a day.

Feel free to comment below. Hope you all are having an awesome weekend loves.

Love,

K
